论英汉翻译中的文化差异处理

On Cultural Differences in English-Chinese Translation

翻译不但是两种语言之间的简单转换,还是一种跨文化的交际活动。一般来讲,英语与汉语在语言文化上的差异主要是体现在语言文字、思维、历史、心态以及环境等几个方面。作为翻译者,必须面对两种分属不同文化体系的语言翻译过程中的所有问题。因此,如何解决文化因素对英汉翻译的影响,更好的传递语言内涵成为翻译者必须研究探讨的问题之一。

Translation is not only a simple conversion between two languages,but also a cross-cultural communicative activity. Generally speaking,English and Chinese in language and culture differences are mainly embodied in the language,thinking, history,psychology and environmental aspects.A translator must face all the problems which belongs to two different cultural system in the process of translation.Therefore,how to solve the cultural factors＇ influence on English-Chinese translation to better transfer the language connotation is one of the problems that translators must study.
