Observation on the specimens of tea leafhopper from Zhejiang, Fujian, Anhui, Hubei, Hunan, Guizhou, Guangdong, Hainan province et al was carried out, and concluded that the dominant species in these tea areas are false eye leafhopper,belonging the Empoasca, the scientific name is Empoasca (Empoasca) vitis (Gthe)
