曹植作品中的神话内容非常丰富,一是黄帝、神农等帝世神系的神话,二是伏羲、女娲的神话,三是尧舜禹与娥皇、女英的神话,四是西王母、嫦娥等神祗的神话。曹植对神话的运用,表达了他的功业意识与英雄意识,超越意识与神仙意识,忧患意识与生命意识,具有历史化的色彩,同时也与身世感情有密切的关系。

The myth in Cao Zhi＇ s work is extremely rich with four different types. The first one is about emperor Yellow, emperor Shennong and other emperors, the second is stories about Fuxi and Nvwa, the third is about Yao.Shun.Yu and E-huang, Nvying,and the fourth is about the Queen Mother of the West, Goddess of the moon and some other deities. By the use of the myth,Cao Zhi expressed his awareness of achievements and heroism,of surmounting and celestial,and of suffering and life. It has historical character, as well as close connection with his life experiences and sentiment.
