The progress of study on the physiology and histopatology of insect midgut

昆虫中肠作为分泌消化酶和其它酶类的主要部位 ,起着消化食物和吸收养分的重要作用 ,也是病原微生物、农药和各种毒素的作用靶标 ,其生理与病理研究日渐广泛和深入 就昆虫中肠部分酶类的主要特性及有关物质的代谢特点。

Regarded as a major place for a insect to excrete digestive enzymes and other enzymes, midgut has an important role in digesting food and absorbing nutrients, and is also a target of pathogenic microbes, insecticides or toxins. In this paper, the author reviewed the basic characteristic of some midgut proteases and the metabolism of some substances in the midgut, several pathogenic factors of midgut and the relationship between the secretions of midgut and transgenic insect-resistant plants.
