随着我国对外交流和合作的不断深化,实践中实用性翻译文本所占比重越来越大,种类庞杂,无所不包,在社会生活中的地位也越来越重要。本文试图从翻译此类文本时优先考虑的功能性或在翻译所要实现的特定目的性的角度出发,将所有这类翻译归为专门用途翻译(Translation for Specific Purposes),并提出TSP的定义,主要特征和分类体系,阐述TSP研究对教学的促进和推动作用,探讨应用翻译现象。

As the fast development of international communication and cooperation between China and other countries, pragmatic translation becomes more and more prominent in practice; it contains all kinds of text types except literature translation and plays a very important role in international communication. The paper tempts to classify all kinds of pragmatic translation into Translation for Specific Purposes in terms of the function or the purpose fulfilled in translating process. Also a definition, and the features of TSP are discussed, and a family tree is given,too. Finally, the benefit of TSP classification to the translation teaching is also briefly illustrated.
