On Credit Culture Construction and Credit Risk Management for China's Commercial Banks

在当前社会转型期,我国商业银行信用文化建设面临的主要问题是:社会信用环境不佳,社会信用法律体系、社会中介和服务体系以及绩效考核体系不够完善,失信行为的惩戒机制尚未建立等。应大力改善社会信用环境,尽快完善社会信用法律体系、信用中介和服务体系、内部控制和绩效考核体系,构建失信行为的惩戒机制,以加强商业银行信用文化建设,有效管理其信用风险。

During the current social transformation period, the major problems of credit culture construction for Chi- na＇ s commercial banks are： poor social credit environment; lack of social credit legal system, social intermediary and service system and performance appraisal system; dishonesty disciplinary mechanism not established and so on. Therefore, in order to strengthen credit culture construction for our commercial banks and to manage their credit risk effectively, we should improve the social credit environment greatly; improve the social credit legal system, credit intermediaries and service system, and the internal control and performance appraisal system as soon as possible; and build the dishonesty disciplinary mechanism.
