摘要
从语言生成的角度分析和解释英语中的逻辑转喻现象。认为逻辑转喻本质上是一种谓词隐含现象,是语言使用者追求表达经济性和利用格式塔认知原则的结果。动词补语形式的多样性要求和隐含事件的强规约性是逻辑转喻的生成限制条件。
This paper explains the phenomenon of logical metonymy in English from the perspective of language production.Logical metonymy is in essence a phenomenon of predicate concealment and results from the language users＇ pursuit of the economy of language and use of gestalt principle.Finitely polymorphic complement of the matrix verb and conventionality of concealed events are the premises for the production of logical metonymy.
