The study of A Dream in Red Mansions has been continued since its appearance and has reached such a delicate level that any novelty is difficult to be expected. By nature of genre, novel mainly narrates, but A Dream in Red Mansions is lyric as well as narrative. This is a reading of the text in the perspective of empathy.
