The Role and Influence of Western NGOs in Developing Countries

西方NGO主要通过开展跨国活动在发展中国家发挥作用与影响。它们在发展中国家主要发挥着中介作用和建构作用。它们以及它们的跨国活动对发展中国家的影响均具有两面性。故此,发展中国家应采取灵活的应对策略。

Western NGOs （a short for non-governmental organizations）, mainly by means of carrying out transnational activities in the developing countries, play an important role and have great influence in developing countries. In these countries western NGOs generally act as intermediaries and play construction roles, which have two sides. Thus it＇s necessary for the developing countries to adopt some flexible strategies when they contact with western NGOs.
