As a typical cultural and entertainment park, Shenyang Zhongshan Park provides the public with an ideal place where public culture can be displayed and such activities as recreation and leisure, physical exercise and fitness, gathering and party, etc. All can be developed. Visitors to the park behave both richly and individually. With Shenyang Zhongshan Park as site,an investigation was made on the basic construction of visitors, their degree of satisfaction, demand, time and space distribution and behavioral characteristics, in which methods were employed, such as Post Occupancy Evaluation, survey questionnaire distribution, recording and interviewing. It is suggested that a good cultural atmosphere be created in the park; the plant landscape be enriched; service facilities and management means be further perfected and humanized; the park environment be kept clean and tidy; the park be built more in line with visitors" behavioral characteristics and needs to arrive in the natural harmony between visitors and environment.
