《钟情丽集》、《贾云华还魂记》等中篇传奇小说的叙事模式建构,在情节范型上,形成了以建筑为框架构建叙事空间,用"表亲型"来设置"才子""佳人"关系的庭院式言情情节范型;在叙事结构上,因对文章技法特别是八股文法的借鉴而呈现出"程式化"的特点;在叙事角度上,受史传文学的影响而形成了第三人称全知讲述、叙评相携和线性自然时间叙事的特点。这些特点对后来的言情类小说产生了一定的影响。

Medium-length legendary novels ＂Zhong qing li Ji＂ and ＂JIA Yun-hua＇ s Revival＂ have influences on the later romantic fictions： in plot paradigm, they built framework for narrative space, using ＂cousinrelationship＂ to set romartce between talented men and beautiful women; in narrative structure, they are ＂stylized＂ owing to the influence of stereotyped writings ; in narrative angle, influenced by biographical literature, they are told by the third-person, combining narration with comment in linear natural time.
