从巴斯奈特文化翻译观看口译——以温家宝2011年英国皇家学会演讲为例

Analysis of Oral Interpretation Based on Bassnett's Cultural Translation Theory——In the Case of Speech for the Royal Society by WEN Jia-bao

文化翻译观认为,翻译是一种跨文化交际的行为,特别强调文化在翻译中的地位和翻译对于文化的意义影响,并把翻译看作宏观的文化转换。口译作为一种即时性的口头翻译行为,它的过程自然也与文化因子不可分离,也可以看作是一种口头的文化转换。主要以温家宝在2011年出席英国皇家学会的演讲为例,从文化翻译观的角度,讨论译者如何合理利用文化因子,成功地将"未来中国的走向"通过口译的过程展现给了西方世界。

Cultural translation theory holds that translation is a cross-cultural communication, indicating the importance of culture in the translation field and the influence of translation to cultural significance. It recognizes translation as a macro culture substitution. Interpretation, which can be considered as an oral culture substitution, is an instant oral activity of translation, and its process cannot be separated from cultural factors. In the case of speech for the Royal Society by WEN Jia-bao, from the perspective of cultural translation, this article aims at discussing how the interpreter managed to take the cultural factors into account and show ＂the Path to China＇ s future＂ to the western world.
