Study on Labor Migration in the Greater Mekong Sub-region

20世纪90年代以来,大湄公河次区域地区经济的繁荣和不平衡发展,造成大规模劳工移民在区域内的出现。本文将探讨大湄公河次区域劳工移民的基本概况、劳工移民给目的国和来源国带来的影响,在此基础上探讨区域内各国的劳工移民政策和管理措施。

Since 1990s,the large flow of migrant labor has emerged in the Greater Mekong Sub-region due to the prosperity and uneven pace of development among the economies comprising the Sub-region.This paper will give a general survey of the migrant labor in the Greater Mekong Sub-region, explore the impacts of the migrant labor on destination country and origin country. Finally, the immigration policies and measures of the Sub-region will be discussed.
