话题链视角下的汉英篇章组织模式对比研究

A Contrastive Study of Discourse Constructional Patterns between Chinese and English:From the Perspective of Topic Chains

英汉篇章对比多从英语出发,真正考虑汉语本质特点的不多。话题链是汉语篇章组织的核心手段之一,且在篇章中高频出现。从汉语话题链出发,对比汉英篇章组织的异同,可以为汉英对比研究提供新视角,同时也能解释汉英篇章组织差异的根源。本文从基本单位组织、中层单位组织和宏观组织策略3个层面,以及修辞和词汇手段等方面对比了汉英篇章组织的异同,并归纳出话题链建构汉语篇章的几种模式。

With the preference of starting from English and linguistic theories based on English,contrastive discourse studies between English and Chinese seldom considered Chinese inherent characteristics.As the essential discourse organizing mechanism in Chinese,topic chains have a fairly high frequency of use in Chinese written discourse.From the perspective of topic chains,the contrastive study of organizing principles between Chinese and English discourses is likely to bring new discoveries.Meanwhile,topic trains may also interpret the immediate causes for the differences between the two languages.This paper addressed the issue from three levels,i.e.the combination of fundamental units,the organization of medium units and the macro-level strategies.The level of lexicon and rhetoric was also discussed.
