It is analyzed the piling up breakdown of 3# roughing mill of heavy sections continuous rolling line of Shi Steel, concluded the reason is the safety pin does not reach the design demand and is not discov ered in safety check. The measures in mechanics, electrics and process are worked out, the point check and post work standards are improved, and so those guarantee the steady production.
