通过对犁头鳅Lepturichthys funbriata Günther标本摄食器官和消化系统的解剖观察和测量发现:犁头鳅口角须3对,吻须2对,同时上、下唇具有乳突;口裂微弧形,仅为头宽的0.36,口腔平滑无齿;无咽齿;食道短,食道之后无食道囊,直接连接在胃贲门部;胃属"U"型胃,壁较厚,有弹性;胃幽门处较细,与之后较粗的前肠形成明显对比,在连接处缢缩呈一结,无幽门盲囊;肠短,平均肠道系数为0.54±0.06;后肠较长,占整个肠长的0.53±0.08.肠长、后肠长等随体长的增加而增加,但肠道系数及后肠占肠长的比例不随体长增加而变化;肝脏分三叶,腹面一叶,较大,背面两叶,较小;胰脏呈线状,插入到最大那叶肝脏中.犁头鳅属肉食性鱼类.

Through anatomical observation and measurement of the feeding organs and digestive system of the Lepturichthys funbriata specimens,it has been found that there are three pairs of barbells beside mouth,two pairs of barbells beside labrums,and some fimbriate mastoids on the lips.The oral fissure is arc-shaped and small,and its width is only 0.36 of the head width.The oral cavity is smooth without teeth,and there are no pharyngeal teeth either.The esophagus is short and connected to the gastric cardia directly without esophageal capsule.The shape of stomach is ＂U＂ type,and gastric walls are thick and elastic.The pylorus is thin and had distinguishable characters with the thick foreguts.Foreguts and pylorus had knots at their joints and no pyloric caecum attached.The intestine is short,and the average of intestinal coefficient is 0.54±0.06.The hindgut is long,and its length is 0.53±0.08 of the total length of intestinal.The Intestinal length and the hindgut length increases with body length increasing,but the intestinal coefficient and the proportion of the hindgut in the whole length of intestinal doesn＇t change.Liver had three hepatic lobules,one in the venter is bigger,and the other two on the back is smaller.The pancreas is linear,and inserted in the largest liver.Lepturichthys funbriata is carnivorous fish.
