笔名的使用是现代作家文学活动中的普遍现象,时代的反传统主义思潮、密布的文网、以及刊物的生存迫使作家们大量使用、频繁变更他们的笔名,笔名又包含着命名者丰富的个人寄托。将笔名视为副文本,对正文的阐释有着重要意义,笔名和作品之间存在着互文性,笔名作为文学活动的一种传播策略,它的兴起、高涨和衰退与新文学的发展进程是密切相关的,考证作家的笔名,对于新的文学史料的发掘,进而改变文学史的论述有着重要意义。

The use of pennames is a universal phenomenon in the literary activities of modem writers, because the anti-tradition ideological trend, the close-set networks and the survival of journals have compelled writers to vo-luminously use and frequently change pennames which contain great personal hopes of the namers. The use of the pen name as a sub-text is of much significance for the interpretation of the text because of the intertextuality between the pen name and the works. As a communication strategy in literary activities, the rise, upsurge and decline of the pen name is closely related with the development process of new literature. Moreover, the textural research of writ-ers＇ pen names is highly significant for exploring the historical data of new literature and for transforming the narra-tion of the literary history.
