Chinese cultural context generally takes ＂disgracing oneself to honor others＂ and ＂saving face＂ as their primary concept to choose relevant apology in speech communication. The comprehensive apology plays key roles in saving listeners＇ faces, eliminating misunderstandings caused by word - and - deed mistakes between speakers and listeners as well as in set- ting up the harmonious interpersonal relationship between workplaces.
