高校图书馆设立阅读推广部的思考

认为高校图书馆设立阅读推广部的条件已经完全成熟,表现在:独有的内部资源优势,日益优化的外部阅读环境;扎实而源远流长的工作基础,广泛而高素质的对象基础;信息泛滥使得阅读推广的需求陡然迫切,信息技术使得阅读推广的空间悄然拓展。指出高校图书馆建立阅读推广部,除了配齐人员外,还需要从思路上立足本校、服务社会,在方式上与读者互动交流、注重实效,在实践中与时俱进、调整发展。

The paper considers that requirements for setting up reading promotion department in university library are met fully now, for internal unique resource advantage, increasingly optimized outside reading environment, solid and long-standing base of work, widespread and well-qualified reader, urgent reading promotion demand caused by information flooding, and information technology making reading promotion＇s roomage being expanded. The paper also points out that for university library＇s setting up the department, it must not only equip with personnel, but also be based on the university＇s condition and serve society in thought, interact with reader and pay attention to actual effect on mode, advance with the times and adjust development in practice.
