Strategies on C-E/E-C Translation of Tourism Texts from the Perspective of Scopos Theory

The Scopos Theory can be used to evaluate the translation of scenic areas from Chinese to English or vice versa. Based on the Scopos Theory, the following translation strategies are proposed： converting between subject and object images , fully playing the language structural advantages of the TL , reconstructing the source text , de- creasing or increasing information, converting between covert and overt cohesion, omitting the evaluating sentences.
