Simultaneous interpretation is a highly complicated bi-lingual activity under strict time constraints. Simultaneous interpreters need to achieve the cognition and understanding of the source language and the conversion and production in target language at once. Lexical chunks stored in memory as integration can be withdrawn directly without grammatical analysis and generation. The effective use of lexical chunks can reduce the consuming pressure of mental resources in the process of interpretation and enhance the fluency as well as accuracy of the interpreter＇s expression.
