试析唐代落第士人的游历之风

The Practice of Peregrination of the People Who Failed in Imperial Examination in Tang Dynasty

游历是唐代很多落第士人生活的重要组成部分,是一种比较普遍的社会现象。造成这种现象的主要原因是唐朝科举制度设计本身不完善、相关制度执行不严格、唐朝特有的政治格局和整个社会大环境所致。落第士人大规模的无序流动,给社会稳定带来危害;同时,也造成自己家庭在经济上、日常生活上的诸多困顿。但落第士人游历也一定程度上促进不同地域的文化交流,对唐朝文化的繁荣发展起到积极作用。

Peregrination,as a normal social phenomenon,is a crucial part of life for those who failed in imperial examination in Tang Dynasty.This phenomenon is caused by imperfection of imperial examination system in Tang Dynasty,bad implementation of relevant policies,peculiar political pattern of Tang and the whole social environment.The massive and chaotic movements of the people who failed in an imperial examination did harm to the stability of society.It also brought much difficulties to economy and daily life of many families.However,these people partly promoted cultural interaction among various places,thus contributing to the prosperous development of the culture in Tang Dynasty.
