云计算下的国外图书馆联盟服务研究

Research on Foreign Library Consortium Services under the Cloud Computing

云计算因其具有资源分配动态化、需求服务自助化、网络访问便捷化、服务可计量化、资源的虚拟化等特点受到国外很多图书馆联盟的青睐。国外图书馆联盟主要将云计算技术应用于图书编目和借阅、虚拟参考咨询、信息通知和信息与资源共享等服务。其关注最新云计算技术,将云计算技术广泛应用在图书馆联盟业务,并很好地将云计算技术与需求结合的举措值得我国图书馆联盟借鉴。

The cloud computing was favored by foreign library consortia because of its charactedstics, such as the dynamic resource allocation, the buffet demand service, the convenient network access, the measurable service,the virtualized resouce, and so on. The cloud computing was broadly applicated into foreign library consortium services, such as the book cataloging, the borrowing service, the virtual reference, the information notifying service and information and resource shadng services,and so on. Library consortia in China should take a lesson to pay close attention to the newest cloud computing technology, apply it into library consortium services and combine it with the demand.
