This essay probed into the significance,effects and working steps about the reform of the teaching method in art histo- ry curriculum for art teaching speciality in the college for professional training. In order to bear out that＂take the employments as the guidances, the task as the drive＇method of art history curriculum getting along with the higher professional training prin- ciple teaching, studying, practics are united, professional skill, ability of existence, methodic competence and many other pro- fessional ability of the students can be trained by these priciples. It is a beneficial attempt in teaching method reform that provi- ding an example in capability training by theoretical courses.
