Objective To explore the clinical value for judging the condition and prognostic of patients with severe pneumonia by dynamic monitoring of procalcitonin(PCT),human soluble myeloid cells triggering receptor-1(sTREM-1) and lactate levels in serum. Methods 88 cases of patients with severe pneumonia received in our hospital from April 2012 to February 2013 was monitored with PCT,sTREM-1 and lactate levels on 1th,4th,7th days after admission, the 88 cases of patients were divided into the death group and survival group for further compare and analysis according to the prognosis. Results 25 patients died,63 patients survived in 88 cases. The levels of PCT,sTREM-1 and lactate in serum on the 4th and 7th day in death group were significantly higher than the survival group, the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Dynamic detection of PCT,sTREM-1 and lactate levels trend in serum was helpful for the prognosis of patients with severe pneumonia.
