日本正仓院收藏的伎乐面有二百余种,是研究中日戏剧交流史的重要物证。伎乐是在唐燕乐之前传入日本的一种假面戏剧。伎乐是通过中国传入日本的,但是受到西域乃至中亚西亚文化的深远影响。

There are more than 200 kinds of kabuki masks collected in Japan Shosoin. They are significant evidences for studying the communication history of Chinese and Japanese theatre. As a mask theatre, kabuki was introduced in- to Japan from China. It also was greatly impacted by culture in western regions and west Asia.
