结核分枝杆菌PE/PPE蛋白研究进展 被引量:2

Progress on PE/PPE proteins of Mycobacterium tuberculosis

摘要 PE/PPE蛋白是分枝杆菌所独有的蛋白家族,因其氨基端分别含有Pro-Glu(PE)和Pro-Pro-Glu(PPE)的基序而得名,其编码基因约占结核分枝杆菌整个基因组的10%。PE/PPE蛋白从被发现开始就引起了人们的广泛兴趣,本文就近年来的研究进展作一综述。 PE/PPE proteins are named after the conserved proline-glutarnate (PE) or proline proline glutamate (PPE) motifs at their N-terminus. PE/PPE multigene family is unique to Mycobacterium and codes for approximately 10% of the whole genome of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Since their formal identification, PE/PPE proteins have attracted much interest. This review summarizes the recent knowledge about the gene family in order to better understand its biological, function.
