Objective To assess the value of dual-energy CT angiography (DECTA) in the follow-up of postoperative in-tracranial aneurysms. Methods Seventy-seven patients diagnosed as intracranial aneurysm and underwent implemented an-eurysm clipping with titanium clips were enrolled. The raw data of CTA were acquired and transmitted to the workstation for image post-processing. Comprehensive analysis and evaluation was made on original axial images and reconstructed ima-ges. Results DECTA of 77 patients was all clearly showed the aneurysm, clips and the patency of parent artery. Among 84 aneurysms, there were 82 aneurysms completely occluded without shifting, 2 with residual aneurysm neck. Among 77 patients, new aneurysms of the other part were detected in 3 patients after clipping, while slight stenosis of aneurysm car rying artery was noticed in 1 patient. Conclusion DECTA can be used as an accurate and noninvasive method for postoper-ative follow-up for patients with aneurysrns after clipping with titanium clips.
