基于Monte Carlo模拟的交通灯动态时间控制系统

摘要 为了解决城市交通拥堵的问题,针对当前大多数交通灯采用固定红绿灯时长、通行效率低的情况,提出一种基于Monte Carlo模拟的交通灯动态时间控制系统设计方案,利用各路口的车流量信息计算分配当前各车道的通行时间,利用Monte Carlo法模拟实际交通情况,采用车辆平均等待时间作为评价指标对红绿灯时长分配进行优化。该系统可实现交通灯的动态时间控制,有效提高交叉路口车辆的通行效率。 As most traffic lights in current days have fixed cycle pattern which leads to low passing effi- ciency, a new real-time control system of traffic lights based on the Monte Carlo method is designed and presented in this paper. Traffic information of each lane is used to calculate the optimal cycle of traffic lights for minimizing the average waiting time. The Monte Carlo method is employed to simu- late actual traffic status to achieve the dynamic control of traffic lights. The results show this dynamic control system dramatically improves the passing efficiency at an intersection. Compared with the tra- ditional fixed-cycle system, it is more suitable for complex traffic situations.
