摘要
河姆渡这片姚江畔的古老土地．位于风景秀丽的四明山北麓，西距余姚城邦24公里，东距宁波市25公里。姚江．连接河姆渡遗址、余姚以及宁波的城邦。从行政概念上讲．河姆渡遗址在余姚市河姆渡镇。如果是有心人，进入河姆渡镇的界域．那来自遗址的一声声召唤似乎愈加强烈。真的，那种精神的吸引非常真实。曾经一位骑自行车前往”朝圣”的人写道：“我静静听着车轮碾路面的声音，渐渐地似乎脱离于现世的时空．心境平和。忽然，心儿好像被什么箍紧，就像树枝被小乌的爪子抓紧。”
The archaeological site of Hemudu was found in the town of Hemudu, kilometers away from the central Ningbo. Since the beginning of the excavation work in 1973, the site area has slowly enlarged to 40,000 square meters. So far it is tbund one of the earliest cultural remains of Neolithic period in China. The museum got opened in 1993 with its name made by the former President Jiang, and 4 regular exhibitions have been on display ever since, each on independent subject with assistance of various multi-media devices. By doing so, the museum also plays a significant role in further research and protection of Hemudu culture.
