This paper introduces the Telnet protocol and the application background of it in the network monitoring of Pump station.Then it describes how to realize the Telnet protocol using the C# programming language and how to complete of the design and development of the software for monitoring the pump station network link.It realizes the network alarm function of the Pump Station Monitoring System.
