摘要
阅读既是语言学习的主要目的和手段,也是学生获取文化知识的重要方式。本研究从人文主义、认知主义和建构主义三个方面分析了跨文化意识培养的理论基础,并结合定量和定性方式,利用调查问卷、成绩统计对比及个别访谈进行了研究和分析。研究结果表明,笔者进行的跨文化意识的培养对学生英语阅读学习成绩和兴趣的提高、语用意识的增强都有促进作用。因此,笔者建议教师应在教学中对学生进行跨文化意识的培养,并增加自身文化知识的积累,正确处理中西方文化之间的关系,根据学生的实际需要进行教学材料的取舍。
Reading is the main purpose and method of language study as well as a significant way to gain cultural knowledge. The paper analyzes the theoretical basis for cultivation of intercultural awareness from the perspective of humanism, cognitivism and constructivism. The research is conducted with the employment of questionnaire, the comparison of the pretest and the posttest, and interview in both quantitative and qualitative ways. The results show that the cultivation of intercultural awareness does good to the improvement of students' reading and their interest in English reading and intercultural knowledge. The author at last suggests that teachers should pay more attention to accumulation of intercultural knowledge, deal with western and Chinese cultures appropriately, choose reading material according to students' current needs.
