A Brief Discussion on the Cultivation of Students' Interest in Mathematics

兴趣是人的欲望、需要、追求的征兆,兴趣能使一个人和他的对象融为一体。学生对某一种学习活动有兴趣,就全神贯注于其学习活动,学生的兴趣既是学习的动力和先导,又是教师确认学生发展水平和阶段的依据之一。因而教师在教学中,要善于培养学生的学习兴趣,为此,要为学生提供表现和获得成功的机会,要激发学生的内在学习动机,使学生把学习任务作为自己的强烈要求,使学习成为学生自觉行动,在情绪高涨的情况下,精神饱满地去学习、探索和追求。

Students＇ interest is important in their learning activities and it is also a standard for the teacher to measure a student＇s development level and stage. Therefore, in teaching, the teacher should he good at cultivating students＇ learning interest, and make them energetically exploring and seeking the unknown.
