Catalytic wet oxidation degradation of methyl orange with Cu_xO under room temperature and atmospheric pressure

摘要 采用沉淀法制备CuxO催化剂,以甲基橙溶液模拟纺织废水,研究CuxO催化剂在常温常压下催化湿式氧化甲基橙的性能,探讨了焙烧温度和焙烧时间对催化剂催化活性的影响,考察了工艺条件中甲基橙溶液的浓度和pH、催化剂用量以及反应温度对催化湿式氧化过程的影响,探讨了CuxO催化湿式氧化甲基橙的机制和动力学。结果表明:CuxO的最佳制备条件为500℃焙烧4 h;20℃下,催化湿式氧化体系中催化剂CuxO的用量为2 g/L,甲基橙溶液的质量浓度为0.000 5 g/L,pH为3时,催化反应效率最高,2 h后脱色率可达83.6%。 The catalyst CuxO was prepared by the chemical precipitation. The degradation of methyl orange dye solution, which is a kind of representative textile wastewater, was investigated by catalytic wet oxida- tion using CuxO as catalyst under room temperature and atmospheric pressure. The effects of the calcining temperature and calcining time on the catalytic activity were discussed. And the influences of the concen- tration and pH of the methyl orange dye solution, the amount of catalyst and reaction temperature on the catalytic wet oxidation were investigated. The mechanism and the kinetics of degradation of methyl orange dye solution by catalytic wet oxidation using CuxO as catalyst were also discussed. The results showed that the optimum preparation conditions of CuxO were that the calcining temperature was 500 ℃ and the calci- ning time was 4 h. The catalytic activity was at its peak with a decolorization ratio of up to 83.6% after 2 h obtained in 0. 000 5 g/L methyl orange dye solution ( pH = 3 ) at 20 ℃ using 2 g/L CuxO as catalyst.
