西部大开发须着力加快城市化进程

The Development of Western China Requires Acceleration of Urbanization

城市化严重滞后是西部诸多问题的症结所在。因此 ,西部大开发中要对加快城市化问题予以高度重视 ,以大开发促进城市化 ,以城市化推动大开发。基于上述认识 ,作者就西部地区如何加快城市化进程提出若干对策建议。

The slow process of urbanization gives rise to many problems in the western area of China. Close attention should be paid to the issue of urbanization during the process of the Development of Western China. The Development of Western China promotes the urbanization and urbanization, in turn, drives the development. Based upon this perception, this paper offers some advices on how to speed up the process of urbanization in China's western area.
