多年来,我国的高校侧重于课程教育,忽视文化素质教育。英语教育作为我国高校教学中重要的一门课程,也是人文教育的重要课程之一。通过对英语课堂教学的封闭和僵化的现状分析,提出加强英语教学改革的迫切性。

In the latest years, focusing on curriculum education but ignoring cultural quality education is a trend in higher education. English education as one important course in college ＂teaching, is one vital cultural course and as well. This article aims at pointing out the urgency of strengthening college English reform via the analysis of the closed and rigid situation occurred in the English classes.
