独立学院非英语专业大学生听力策略使用及培训

An Investigation into Listening Comprehension Strategies and Strategy Training among Non-English Majors in Independent Colleges

摘要 本文通过对159名2011级独立学院非英语专业学生进行问卷调查,了解其听力学习策略的使用状况,并提出了学生英语学习策略培训的建议。调查结果显示,学生运用元认知策略频率最高,随之依次为认知策略和社会/情感策略。另外,通过访谈得出,策略培训可以优化学生的听力学习效果。 This study tries to find out the general trend in the use of listening comprehension strategies among the non-English freshmen in independent college through questionnaire, and also to research into the way in listening comprehension strategy training. The subjects involved in this study were 159 freshmen enrolled in Zhejiang Ocean University Donghai Science and Technical Institute in September of 2011. The findings of this study are presented as follows. Firstly, students used metacognitive strategies most, followed by cognitive and social/affective strategies. Secondly, this study proves that training in strategies of listening comprehension can improve learners' efficiency in English listening from interview. Based on the above study, this thesis offered some suggestions for teachers in language teaching and listening strategy training.
