论我国西部大开发的实质

On the Essence of the Development of West Area in China

西部大开发的实质 ,不仅仅是要改变西部地区经济落后的面貌 ,也不仅仅是要使西部地区的经济发展水平赶上东部地区 ,缩小东西部地区经济发展上的差距 ,而是要实现经济现代化、经济市场化、经济国际化。现代化、市场化、国际化都是西部大开发所要实现的基本目标 ,其中现代化是西部大开发的核心 ,是最基本的目标 ;而市场化、国际化都是西部大开发的目标 ,又是实现经济现代化的基本方式和手段。基于对西部大开发实质的正确判断 ,本文对西部大开发的内容及其工作要求提出了自己的见解。

The essence of the development of west area is to change the economic backwardness o this area and for economic development of west area to catch up with that of east area,so as to narrow down economic development differences between east and west area.Furthermore,to realize economic modernization,marketability and internationalization is also the essence.Economic modernization,marketability and internationalization are all primary objects,among which modernization is the core and the most essential object of the development of west area;while marketability and internationalization are both the objects of the development of west area and basic measures of realization of economic modernization,This article pushed forward unique opinion on content and requirement of the development of west area based on right judgement on the essence of it.
