This article introduced the motorcycle ignition way development survey, has carried on the analysis to the CDI simulation igniter and the numeral igniter principle of work, separately discussed two kind of igniters merits, the shortcoming and the suitable working condi-tion, pointed out the numeral igniter is the vehicle the inevitable trend which develops with the igniter.
