河南唐河县湖阳镇罐山10号汉墓发掘简报

Excavation of No.10 Han Period Tomb on Guanshan Hill at Huyang Town in Tanghe County,Henan

2005年冬,唐河县湖阳镇农民在罐山采石时发现古墓葬一座。南阳市文物考古研究所对这座墓葬进行抢救性考古发掘。该墓由前室、后室、西耳室、东耳室和墓道组成,为西汉晚或东汉初期的墓葬。出土陶器、瓷器和铜器共计40余件。对研究两汉时期南阳地区画像石墓提供了新资料。

In the winter of 2005, farmers of Huyang Town in Tanghe County discovered an ancient tomb on Guanshan Hill when they mined stones. Soon the Nanyang Municipal Institute of Cultural Relics carried out salvage excavation to researching the grave. The tomb consists of an anterior, a back, an eastern-side and a western-side rooms and a tomb-passage, and can be dated to the late West- ern Han or early Eastern Han Period. The unearthed pottery vessels, porcelain articles and bronzes total above 40. The excavation provided new data for studying the pictorial-stone tombs of the Han Period in the Nanyang Area.
