摘要
在深入分析 SNMP协议和远程监控 ( RMON)网管技术的基础上 ,提出了一种基于 SNMPV2的中层管理者设计方法。该方法具有下列优点 :( 1 )管理信息库设计遵循 SNMPV2 -SMI标准 ,并弥补了 M2 M-SMI( SNMPV2中层管理者信息库 )的不足 ;( 2 )其轮询方法和报警机制优于现有的同类产品 ;( 3 )选用 IETF(因特网工程任务组 )最近推荐的安全协议作通讯协议 ,具有很好的安全性和互操作性 ,易于集成到任何支持 SNMPV2的网管系统中。
WT5,5”BZ] This paper presents a design method of SNMPV2 based midlevel manager, which is based on a thorough analysis of SNMP protocol and RMON network management technology. Such a design method is supposed to have the following advantages: (1) Its management information base is designed in conformity with the SNMPV2 SMI standard, and will remedy the defects of M2M SMI (Management Information Base of SNMPV2 midlevel manager); (2) Its polling way and alarming mechanism are superior to the existing products of the same type; (3) It uses SNMPV2 security protocol suggested by IETF for communication protocol, which has better security and interoperability, and can be easily integrated with any network management system that supports SNMPV2 protocol.
