摘要
应用2007-2010年31家银行的面板数据实证研究发现,中国商业银行的市场份额与稳定性呈倒U形关系,进而推断已有研究中广泛争论的竞争性脆弱和竞争性稳定是倒U形关系的特例。适度竞争有助于提高银行体系的稳定性,由于不良贷款的潜在性,银行稳定性有突然逆转的可能。小型银行的稳定性较低,应为小型银行建立安全网和退出机制,预防竞争性脆弱。
The empirical study founds inverted U-shaped relationship between the market share and stability of commercial banks, and thus infers that the debated competitive fragile and competitive stability theory are special ease of the inverted U-shaped relationship. Moderate competition helps to improve the stability of the banking system, due to the potential of non-performing loans, bank stability could be suddenly reversed. The stability of small banks is the lowest, it is necessary to establish a safety net and exit mechanism for small banks to prevent competitive fragility.
