中国是一个农业大国,农村妇女约占农村人口的一半,是农村社会发展的主体之一。在建设社会主义新农村、促进农村基层民主建设时,不能忽视农村妇女的作用。反思当前农村妇女政治参与的现状及制约因素,应从发展经济、提供保障,强化宣传、优化环境,源头参与、政策保证,多措并举、提升素质,妇联组织、积极作为等方面推动农村妇女政治参与,促进农村基层民主建设。
