WLAN与WCDMA都是成熟的无线网络接入方式。WLAN与WCMDA网络各有优缺点,运营商网络中WLAN通常作为WCDMA的补充。但目前不论是WLAN网络所起到的作用,还是用户的接入体验,都难以令人满意。对WLAN与WCDMA网络的融合问题进行研究,并分析了不同的融合场景和融合的技术特点。

WIAN and WCDMA are both mature wireless network accesse technologies, and either of them have advantages and disadvantages. WLAN is the supplement of WCDMA in the operators＇ network, but the role WLAN playing or its users＇ access experience are both unsatisfied. The essay researched the issues about the network convergence of WLAN and WCDMA, and analyzed the different convergence scene and the technical characteristics.
