The thesauruses in the domestic market can be classified according to their language and arrangement. The analysis and comparison of them on the basis of definition, discrimination and the choice of words show that monolingual thesauruses put more emphasis on definition, less on discrimination; while bilingual ones put more emphasis on discrimination.
