美国警察的入职教育与培训,主要由各州、市、县的警察局下属的警察学院或司法培训中心负责。美国新警入职教育和培训主要包括专业理论学习、体能训练和专业技能培训,呈现出注重警察综合素质培养,强调实战技能;设立科学的课程和考核标准,严格培训和考核;注重培养的连续性,促进警察的专业发展等特征。对纽约州警察学院的新警入职培训项目进行综合分析,以期对我国警察入职教育和培训提供有益借鉴。

The law enforcement recruit training is the main responsibility of the police academies and law enforcement training centers which are affiliated to the state, municipal and county police stations. With its features as paying close attention on the recruits＇ comprehensive qualities, emphasizing the combat skills; setting up high standards for the training courses and evaluation, carrying out strict training and assessment; promoting the professional development for the recruits by focusing on the continuance of the trainings. A case study of the law enforcement recruit training program of New York State Police Academy will be beneficial for the police induction education and training in our country.
