摘要 目前,存储虚拟化技术取得了很大的发展,很多产品化的解决方案已经出来,虚拟光盘库技术就是虚拟存储的发展方向之一。采用虚拟光盘库技术,具有良好的实用性能,与现有光盘库存储应用方式一样,可以不改变现有存储应用管理软件,保护用户投资。同时数据的存取速度将大幅提升,数据安全性高,通过VDL模块将数据存储在光盘或光盘库中,光盘或光盘库就可以保持离线,避免数据由于系统被破坏而丢失。此外,设备投入成本低,采用光盘存储的成本要远远低于磁带库和磁盘阵列。 At present, storage virtualization technology has achieved great development and many products have been popularly used. Virtual CDROM library technology is one of the developing direction of virtual storage. The virtual CDROM library technology has good practical performance,with existing CD library storage application way. It can not change the existing storage applications management software to protect user investment. At the same time data access speed will be increased considerably, wih high data security. VDL module data is stored on the CD-ROM or CD-ROM library which can stay offline and to avoid data loss as the system is damaged. In addition, the equipment has low input cost and optical disc storage costs far less than tape libraries and disk arrays.
