红眼阿义的摇篮:造就“反革命”的虐囚传统与舆论环境——兼谈民众启蒙的革命属性

在鲁迅先生的小说《药》当中,红眼阿义的暴戾行径衬托出革命者的坚贞不屈。事实上,阿义凌虐夏瑜的罪行既是虐囚传统发挥效力的明证,同时也是民间舆论所允许和默认的结果。对于阿义来说,残忍对待身陷囹圄的革命者实属职责所在和渔利之道;对于大众而言,将一心造反的革命者交给阿义来惩处乃是维护社会安定的当然之举。在虐囚传统和民间舆论的共谋下,革命者无谓牺牲。阿义之流的出现,昭示着革命者必须先从清除反人道的文化基因和广泛的社会宣传入手,将民众启蒙视为革命的前提来加以完成,从而摧毁专制体系的文化渊源和思想基础。

Appearance of A＇ Yi beckons the revolutionaries must clear the the cultural gene against humanity and launch a wide range of so- cial advocacy to start the public enlightenment as the premise of the revolution, and thus destroy the cultural origins and ideological foundation of the authoritarian system.
