When doing some reading, it is difficult for English language learner to get the true meaning of the Biblical idioms appearing in text. And it also affects them to comprehend the meaning of the whole text. The author of this article is devoted to solve the problem. This paper explores the biblical idioms＇ relation with from the perspectives of etymology, original meaning, extended meaning, and try- ing to analyze and take on its reflection of Anglo - American culture through many daily use examples.
