摘要 文章分析了当前高职英语教学的局限性,并提出了一种新的教学模式——任务型教学模式,介绍了其主要特点并用课堂实例介绍了任务型教学模式在高职英语教学中的应用。使用这种方法,教师可以根据语言特点,设计具体的可操作的任务,让学生通过完成任务来参与实用的有意义的语言活动,以此来提高目标语言能力。这种新的教学模式摆脱了传统英语课堂"填鸭式"的教学模式,可以进一步加强高职院校学生自主学习能力,切实提高高职英语教学质量,使教学效果达到最佳。 This paper analyzes the limitations of current Higher Vocational English teaching, and puts forward a kind of new teaching mode - Task - based teaching mode. This paper gives the definition of task - based teaching, introduces its main characteristics and describes the application of task - based teaching mode in Higher Vocational English teaching class. With this method, teachers can de- sign specific operational tasks for students according to the linguistic characteristics, and students can improve the target language ability through their participating in practical language activities. This new teaching mode is quite different from the traditional English teaching mode. It can further strengthen the vocational college students' autonomous learning ability;improve the overall English teaching quality in Higher Vocational Colleges, to achieve the best effect.
